North Dakota sheriff hit with lawsuit as governor moves in on #NoDAPL camp
Tensions continue to escalate after the Obama administration opened up the largest #NoDAPL campsite to continued persecution and prosecution by hostile authorities in North Dakota.
Gov. Jack Dalrymple (R) and Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier have so far stayed away from the camps near the Cannonball River. But now that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is closing off the land to the public, the state is quickly asserting jurisdiction there.
